Ambrose Hotel

The Ambrose Hotel is a family run hotel with 17 en-suite well appointed bedrooms. Located close to the areas main attractions, including Piel Castle, the hotel offers an ideal base for exploring the historical sights of Barrow-In-Furness. A small car park is available to guests free of charge, however there is not always enough spaces for all guests. Free parking is available on the surrounding streets, although please be aware that Monday to Friday, between 09.00 and 17.00, these are often taken up by office workers. The hotel bar is open from 17.00 - 24.00 each day. Breakfast is served from 07.30 - 09.00. The hotel restaurant is open from 12.00 - 14.00 for lunch, and 17.00 - 21.00 for dinner. Breakfast is included in the room rate. The average cost of a 3-course meal in the restaurant is £20.00 per person. The hotel reception is open 24 hours to accommodate for late arrivals and any queries you may have. Wi-Fi internet access is available free of charge throughout the hotel. Please note: The hotel is not wheelchair accessible; there is no lift, and there are no rooms on the ground floor.
