The Workhouse
The Workhouse is the UK's least altered workhouse and offers visitors a thought provoking look at life for the very poor during the 19th century. You can explore the segregated stairs and rooms and listen to the audio guide as it talks you through the experience of a life of poverty for the inhabitants that use to live there.
