Newarke Houses

The museum housed in two separate houses was recently refurbished and is now a showcase for everyday life over the ages in Leicestershire. The houses date back to the 16th Century. One is the Wygston's Chantry House built to accommodate priests to sing masses for William Wygston and the other Skeffington House, was built between 1560 and 1583. Both houses are set in beautiful gardens.
