Wirksworth Heritage Centre

An old silk and velvet mill is the setting for this centre spread over three floors created to offer a history of the towns prosperous past. It has interactive displays and a mock up of a natural cavern and a quarryman's house. A more modern addition to the centre is an exhibition outlining Ellen MacArthurs solo sailing achievements.
