Macclesfield Silk Museum

The story of silk from its origins in China to its establishment in Macclesfield is told through a colourful audio-visual programme, exhibitions, textiles, garments models and room settings. The Silk Museum is part of the Heritage Centre a restored Georgian Sunday School which runs a full programme of musical and artistic events throughout the year.
